Everything on this site, from articles and FAQs to the VA disability calculator and pay chart, is general educational material. It is not legal, medical or financial advice and may lag behind changes in law or VA policy. Because each claim turns on its own facts, don’t treat this site as a substitute for advice about your circumstances.
Using the site doesn’t make us your representative
Browsing, filling out a form or reaching out to us does not form an attorney-client, agent-client or other representation relationship, and it doesn’t mean we’ve agreed to take on your claim. Any services would be set out in a separate written agreement. Hold off on sending confidential information until that agreement is signed.
Independent from the VA and the State of Illinois
Mission Ready Claims is a privately owned business. We have no affiliation with, endorsement from, or connection to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iowa City Health Care, VA Illiana Health Care, the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, any county Veterans Assistance Commission, or any other government agency.
Free help exists
Anyone can file a VA claim at VA.gov without paying. In Illinois, Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs service officers, county Veterans Assistance Commissions and VA-accredited Veterans Service Organizations also help veterans file at no charge.
Accreditation and fees

Only the VA decides claims, ratings and benefits. We make no promise about any rating, outcome, payment or timeframe. The calculator and pay figures are estimates drawn from VA’s published rate tables.
Calls, texts and email
When you share your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may reach you by call, text or email as our Privacy Policy explains. Texting STOP ends text messages at any time.
Rules for using the site
Don’t misuse the site. That includes entering false information, trying to get into our systems without permission, disrupting how the site runs, or scraping pages or submitting forms with bots.
Ownership of content
The text, design, logo and tools on this site are owned by Mission Ready Claims or its licensors and protected by law. You’re welcome to view and print pages for your own non-commercial use.
Outside links
Links to sites like VA.gov are provided as a convenience. Their content and privacy practices are their own responsibility, not ours.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, the site is offered “as is” with no warranties of any kind, and Mission Ready Claims will not be liable for damages that result from using the site or relying on what it says.
Governing law
